You’ll work closely with experienced developers, product managers, and data experts to deliver high-quality solutions, explore cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to projects that truly matter. Aufgaben As a working student with us, you will: Support the development of backend services in Node.js/TypeScript (or Python, depending on the project). Help implement integration projects with third-party systems such as HL7, FHIR, hospital information systems, wearable APIs, and BI tools. Work on AI-related service integrations, including data preprocessing or connecting to AI model endpoints. Assist in maintaining and extending internal APIs, authentication flows, and backend infrastructure components. Collaborate closely with backend developers, product managers, and the data team to deliver high-quality features. Participate in code reviews, documentation efforts, and architectural discussions. Support troubleshooting, debugging, and continuous improvement of system reliability and performance. Qualifikation You are a strong fit if you: Are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science or a related field. Have hands-on experience with Node.js, Python, or TypeScript (university projects, personal projects, or internships all count). Understand the basics of API development (REST, Webhooks). Are interested in system integrations, data pipelines, or medical IT interfaces. Bonus: have some exposure to AI or LLM integrations (e.g., model serving, vector search, LLM APIs). Enjoy solving technical challenges and learning new tools and technologies. Speak fluent English; German is a plus but not required. Can work up to 20 hours per week during the semester, with flexibility during exam periods.
