For one of our clients based in Geneva, we are currently seeking a System Engineer. Your Role: - Design, configure, and maintain the client’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and virtualization platforms - Collaborate with IT architects and project managers to deliver secure and scalable system solutions - Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability - Lead initiatives to automate repetitive tasks and optimize system deployment processes - Support backup strategies and disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing - Maintain up-to-date system documentation and provide technical support and guidance to internal teams Your Profile: - Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with 3–6 years of professional experience in a similar position - Strong expertise in Windows and/or Linux server environments, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and networking concepts - Hands-on experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Ansible) - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a strong asset - Knowledge of system monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus) - Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills - Fluency in French and English is required What We Offer: - A diverse, challenging, and autonomous role where you can fully apply and develop your skills - Competitive compensation in line with your qualifications and experience - Strong career development prospects - A supportive employer who values the work-life balance of all team members Die DEKRA Arbeit Gruppe ist Teil der DEKRA SE und seit Jahren einer der am stärksten wachsenden Personaldienstleister in ganz Europa.
