For a client of ours, we are currently looking for a System Engineer in Zürich. Your Role: - You will be responsible for the design, configuration, and maintenance of the client’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and virtualization platforms - Collaborating with IT architects and project managers to implement secure and scalable systems solutions - You will monitor system performance and proactively address issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability - Take a leading role in automating repetitive tasks and improving system deployment processes - You will support backup and disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing - Maintain system documentation and provide technical guidance and support to internal teams Your Profile: - A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, with 3–6 years of experience in a similar role - Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments, virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and networking concepts - Experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Ansible) - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus - Experience with system monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus) - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Fluency in German and English What we offer: - An exciting, varied and independent job in which you can realize your potential - Fair remuneration commensurate with your education, age and experience - Excellent development opportunities - An employer that values the work-life balance of its employees Die DEKRA Arbeit Gruppe ist Teil der DEKRA SE und seit Jahren einer der am stärksten wachsenden Personaldienstleister in ganz Europa.
