We are filling the following position for our client Airbus Defence ans Space in Manching: SYSTEM ENGINEER (M/F/D) FLIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS SOFTWARE YOUR TASKS The department "Flight Management Systems" is in charge of system design and development of military and civil Flight Management Systems (FMS) and Flight Guidance functions Mission (re-)planning aspects in projects like FCAS Research activities in various topics Investigation and development of algorithms to incorporate different technical and operational aspects into different optimization approaches Integration of these functions in a demonstrator for wider functional context Specifying and managing Verification & Validation activities, including laboratory test Prepare Demonstrations to other stakeholders/the customer Document the results, identify gaps and formulate a way forward YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Completed studies, ideally a master's degree or diploma in the fields of computer science, engineering or aerospace Several years of relevant professional experience in the information systems environment Experience in (Mission) Network Systems, Time Synchronization Systems, Flight Management Systems or similar is desirable Experience with machine learning (supervised or unsupervised) is beneficial Very good knowledge of English German knowledge is a plus Willingness for short term business travels to France, Spain and within Germany ( up to six times a year) High degree of motivation BENEFITS You benefit from an attractive salary in accordance with the IG-Metall collective agreement You will receive an allowance for the company pension scheme Look forward to exciting offers from strong brands through our corporate benefits Say ‘goodbye’ to tedious annual holiday planning: with us, it's spontaneous! 30 days annual leave INTERESTED?
