Stellenbeschreibung: Photonics & QT Optics Due to our increased engagement in the area of laser-optical instruments and quantum technology, we are hiring new employees to strengthen our team in the Photonics Engineering department. Your tasks Serve as the primary responsible and direct point of contact for the subcontractor assigned to units of a laser interferometric instrument Coordinate, implement, and monitor the subcontractor’s development activities Conduct technical assessments and, if necessary, perform shadow engineering Collaborate with engineers across the company as part of the payload team Negotiate change requests and manage contract change notices Ensure compliance with contractual requirements regarding quality, cost, and schedule Report regularly to the project manager Organize and lead technical and project reviews Your skills and experience Experience in development projects for space applications Strong understanding of lasers and electro-optical systems Able to work independently as well as within interdisciplinary teams Proven experience in project planning Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and foster a culture of inclusion Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in German is an asset Master’s degree or PhD in Physics, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline Willingness and ability to travel within Europe on short notice We offer Diverse development tasks in the area of high-end space technology Personal impact and development possibilities in flat hierarchies Profit sharing, company pension scheme, flexible home office rules and many more… This position will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
