For our client, a cutting-edge company specialized in secure connectivity and communication technologies tailored to the requirements of the defence and aerospace industries, we are filling the following position: SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER (M/W/D) AVIATION YOUR TASKS Collaborate with the System Design Lead to develop and enhance the connectivity solution for commercial aviation Provide 3rd-line support for production environments Create and document technical requirements and system designs, including interfaces, performance targets, and certification compliance Work with suppliers to implement and evolve solutions Partner with airlines to tailor customer-specific solutions Ensure scalable and cost-effective solutions to support aircraft Coordinate with suppliers, product management, test & verification teams, and internal stakeholders Promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making Contribute to the development, evaluation, and management of RFPs to suppliers Provide technical guidance to integration and verification teams during test design, execution, validation, and root-cause analysis YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Satellite Communications, Telecommunications, Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience Expierience in delivering and managing solutions in aeronautical connectivity or related domains, including hands-on experience with open-source technologies and continual improvement processes Experience collaborating with partners to develop ISP solutions for aviation connectivity Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and create solution documents for internal and external stakeholders Commercially aware with the ability to influence customer requirements in line with divisional and corporate goals BENEFITS Attractive compensation based on qualifications and experience Opportunities to work on international projects or cross-border teams Start-up atmosphere with ownership, impact, and growth potential Regular team events, company meetings, and workshops Workplace in a growing, future-oriented market Home office or hybrid work model INTERESTED?
