Stellenbeschreibung: Join us to make education accessible for all! Strengthen our SalesTech Team in full-time (40 hrs./week) as Senior Salesforce Engineer (m/f/d) at our IU office locations or remotely (must reside in Germany or the UK) . This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem. You will design, develop, and maintain advanced Salesforce solutions, working on diverse projects such as custom Apex/Lightning development and API integrations. Reporting to the Salesforce Engineering Manager, you’ll use your Salesforce, programming, and database skills to deliver high-quality results in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. Your tasks Design and implement pragmatic Salesforce solutions, utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies. Develop and maintain scalable and efficient code, adhering to best practices and design patterns within the Salesforce ecosystem. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into reliable Salesforce solutions. Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms. Customize Salesforce environments to fit unique business needs, leveraging custom objects, fields, formulas, workflows, and approval processes. Contribute to quality assurance processes, including writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure the reliability of solutions. Actively participate in team meetings, code reviews, and collaborative design sessions, sharing knowledge and best practices with team members. Stay informed about the latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices, incorporating new technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Your Profile Several years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and experience with languages such as Java, C#, or Web Technologies and their application within the Salesforce ecosystem. Experience with database management and proficiency in SOQL and SQL query languages. Familiarity with integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment with excellent problem solving skills. Fluent in English and German with strong communication skills, capable of presenting technical information in a clear and concise manner.
