Aufgabengebiet Manage global Linux environments, ensuring performance, security, and reliability. Design and operate Kubernetes clusters for scalable, resilient services. Drive automation with IaC using Ansible and similar tools. Monitor systems with Sensu, OpsGenie, and Grafana Loki. Implement security best practices (firewallD, SELinux, OpenSCAP) and manage identities via FreeIPA. Maintain Utimaco's cybersecurity platform, ensuring reliable service delivery. Anforderungsprofil Hands-on experience in enterprise/global data center network engineering: configuration, troubleshooting, lifecycle management. Skilled with Juniper EX/QFX/SRX, Fortinet FortiGate/FortiSwitch, OPNsense, and Azure networking. Strong knowledge of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP), IPsec VPNs, and secure network design. Familiar with reverse proxies (HAProxy, Traefik), DNS management, and performance optimization. Proficient in network automation with Ansible (and optionally Terraform); experienced with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki). Fluent in English with excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
