- Applike is seeking an experienced and proactive HR professional to
drive our HR solutions in alignment with the business. As a (Senior)
HR Manager , you will be responsible for 1-2 of our portfolio
companies, primarily focused on tech, mobile gaming, and user
acquisition. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary HR contact
for employees and leadership, overseeing the complete employee
lifecycle. You'll manage operational HR tasks, facilitate initiatives
to drive our performance culture, employee experience, skills
development, and contribute to workforce planning and organizational
design, in close partnership with business leaders. Reporting to the
Head of HR, you will work on cross-functional HR projects for
group-wide impact and collaborate closely with managing directors,
team leads, and the broader People, Office, IT, and Finance teams. The

What you will do: HR Operations & Administration: Manage daily HR
operations, e.g. relocation, visa, promotions, L&D, data/reporting,
and documents. Seamless Onboarding: Ensure a best-in-class onboarding
experience. Partner with Leadership & Employees: Contribute to a
high-performance culture, employee engagement, and feedback loops.
Provide expert advice and guidance in sensitive employee relations
cases. Identify and address skill gaps , facilitating development
initiatives with leadership. Support organizational change initiatives
, ensuring transparent communication and employee buy-in. Coach and
guide first-time and experienced managers to strengthen leadership
capabilities and people management practices.* Collaborate on HR
Projects: Engage in cross-functional HR projects designed to elevate
business impact, enhance employee experience, and optimize overall HR
operations. Data-Driven HR & Knowledge Management: Maintain accurate
HR data and streamline knowledge using HRIS (Personio) for workflows,
payroll, and information sharing. Who you are: Extensive HR Expertise:
5+ years of hands-on HR experience, demonstrating: In-depth knowledge
of the entire scope of HR Operations. Solid experience in HR BP and/or
Organizational Development initiatives Track record in a fast-paced
tech start-up environment, ideally tech or mobile gaming.* German
Labor Law Proficiency: Very solid understanding of German labor law
and HR processes across the entire employee lifecycle. Stakeholder
Management: Demonstrated expertise in balancing diverse (HR) interests
within a group of companies with varying needs. Adaptability in
Dynamic Environments: Proven ability to navigate and thrive in growing
and evolving organizations. Intercultural Competence: Strong
intercultural skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with
diverse teams and international stakeholders. Confident Communicator:
Articulate communicator at all levels, including senior leadership and
external partners (e.g., authorities). HRIS & Data: Experience with
HRIS tools (ideally Personio) and a strong commitment to organized,
data-driven HR practices. Language Proficiency: Business fluency in
English, written and spoken. Fluency in German is a plus. Fuel for the
