- Intro Our mission at HEY HOLY: Taking dog health to the next level
through nutrition. Instead of one-size-fits-all, we focus on
breed-specific, functional food – developed with veterinarians and
with the goal of enabling every dog to live a long, healthy life. What
began as an idea in 2022 is today a rapidly growing DTC subscription
model serving over 20,000 dogs. Our 15-person team is set to grow to
over 35 by the end of 2026 – now is the perfect time to join. Our

If you have a passion for finance and process optimization – and
want to build a finance setup that enables and drives our growth :
Let's talk. Tasks You coordinate and execute daily finance operations
– from payments to ensuring smooth transactional processes You
perform pre-closing activities for the monthly close and coordinate
the full closing cycle with our external accounting firm
(Steuerberatungsbüro) You take ownership of cost controlling:
ensuring accuracy of reports, enabling transparent data sharing, and
proactively identifying improvement opportunities to drive
profitability You establish and optimize processes to make the finance
function scalable – leveraging technology to automate and streamline
wherever possible You monitor and manage cashflow on a daily basis and
maintain a 13-week forecast to ensure financial stability and
visibility You act as the key contact point for external finance
stakeholders as well as for internal teams on finance-related requests
and projects Requirements Experience: You have a degree in
Accounting/Finance/Management or similar and bring at least 3 years of
experience in the finance field, ideally in audit/consulting and
start-ups (or similar dynamic environments). You know how a balance
sheet looks like and you can read a cashflow report. You understand
the implications of business decisions on financials. Lifecycle
Ownership: You have already managed finance processes across the full
cycle – from daily operations and cashflow monitoring to monthly
closings, controlling, and enabling management with forward-looking
insights Project-driven & tech-oriented: You enjoy shaping finance
through projects – from setting up new tools to automating processes
– always with the goal of making the function more scalable and
efficient Hands-on and proactive: You’re comfortable in a dynamic
setup where priorities shift, and you know how to push things forward,
coordinate with different teams, and make sure topics get done –
even when structures aren’t perfect yet Performance meets Business
Enablement: You work analytically, track and interpret key financial
KPIs, and provide clear data-based recommendations – always
supplemented by your business intuition and focus on supporting
decision-making and profitable growth Language skills for target group
work: You speak fluent English, German knowledge is a strong plus
