Join us as a Data Backend Developer (f/m/d) and help build robust systems, optimize data flows, and deliver insights that truly make a difference for patients, clinics, and partners worldwide . Tasks Follow the software development lifecycle Studying system flows, data usage and work processes Investigating problem areas & bug fixing Taking on responsibilities of leading more than one scrum team Enforcing clean and secure coding patterns Providing architectural solutions for both product based and external interfaces Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading healthcare data from multiple sources. Ensure data quality, security, and compliance through best practices in data governance and management. Work closely with data analysts to develop KPI dashboards and customized reports, leveraging BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. Maintain and improve data infrastructure to optimize performance and scalability. Identify and implement new technologies and best practices to improve data workflows. Requirements Technical requirements: Degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar 7+ years of experience as a Backend Developer Excellent knowledge of data structures Excellent knowledge of Typescript/ nest.js Excellent knowledge of python Knowledge of framework/ systems (git) Knowledge in docker REST API Good knowledge of clean and secure coding Scrum Knowledge Excellent documentation skills Proven experience in developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, preferably in the healthcare sector. Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with data processing tools such as Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar frameworks. Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) for data visualization and reporting. Soft skill requirements: Team oriented and reliable character Problem solving attitude Good communication skills Fluent in English (verbal and written) Internal and external presentation skills Analytic thinking Organizational skillsGood knowledge of leadership principals Nice to Have: Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM). Understanding of data privacy and security regulations (HIPAA, GDPR). Frontend development experience for data visualization or dashboard integration. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus but not required.
