Your Responsibilities - Develop and optimize automation solutions for new and existing production equipment in Swiss and international manufacturing sites - Specify, evaluate, and implement new production systems and automation stations - Assess new manufacturing processes, including sample builds and technical evaluations - Coordinate with suppliers, manage technical clarifications, and support acceptance procedures - Continuously improve production processes with a focus on quality, cost efficiency, and throughput - Support product development to ensure manufacturing-ready, process-compliant designs - Participate in new business activities, including process concepts, cost estimation, and investment calculations - Prepare make-or-buy assessments and provide expert support on automation topics - Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 14001) Your Profile - Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field - Several years of professional experience in automation engineering and industrial production environments - Strong understanding of modern automation technologies (robotics, control systems, testing equipment, digital production systems) and their integration into manufacturing lines - Solid knowledge of production cost calculations and investment analysis - Strong communication skills combined with analytical thinking, innovation mindset, and team orientation - Very good command of German and English What You Can Expect You will take on a varied and impactful role within a dynamic industrial environment.
