Stellenbeschreibung: Intro We’re looking for a motivated Robotics Software Engineer (m/f/d) with a strong background in mobile robotics and embedded software development to join our team in building exciting unmanned systems . If you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and are passionate about developing innovative robotic solutions, this is the opportunity for you. You’ll be part of a diverse, talented team of engineers and have the chance to apply your skills across a range of exciting and technically challenging robotics projects. Tasks Developing ROS 2 applications for control and navigation Porting Jetson Linux to custom hardware Sensor integration and ROS 2 driver development Refining and optimizing control algorithms for our unmanned vessels Testing and evaluating software on our robotic test platforms Troubleshooting issues during lab and field tests Developing embedded C software Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related fields Proficiency in C/C++ and Python Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS 2 Experience with Embedded Linux and Device Driver development Deep understanding of robotic systems architecture, including sensors, actuators, embedded computing platforms, and real-time system constraints Experience with Nvidia Jetson Hardware and JetPack is advantageous Experience with Micro-ROS is advantageous Ability to work proactively and independently, with a structured approach Good documentation and communication skills in English A strong portfolio of personal projects is highly regarded Benefits Flexible working hours and a hybrid work option A lean, low-bureaucracy environment that empowers engineering creativity Direct, hands-on experience developing and testing our Unmanned Surface Vessels in the field High levels of ownership and responsibility to accelerate your technical growth Access to an electronics lab and mechanical workshop—including support for personal projects after hours Regular social events, including relaxed Friday evening beers with the team Closing If you're interested, we’d love to hear from you.
