Today, Microcaps technology can be found in a cosmetic skin serum, encapsulated Fine Fragrance products and vegan caviar. Our aim is now to expand our production capacity and introduce a visionary and sustainable water-based fine fragrance. Subsequently, we plan to incorporate all-in-one nutrition delivery products into our portfolio. Join us on our mission to bring Swiss precision to the realm of microencapsulation. To strengthen our team in Worben (BE) we are looking for a: Quality Manager, 100% Our encapsulation platform provides opportunities for a wide range of applications and solutions for the cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical industries. After successfully launching our first products in cosmetics, we want to continue our success story and bring even more products to market. The Opportunity As Quality Manager you establish, maintain, and continuously improve a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures compliance, fosters collaboration of our production plant within Microcaps, with suppliers and third-party manufacturers. You ensure that the QMS addresses customer quality needs, and drives quality assurance across the product development and production value stream. Tasks The Impact As a Quality Manager at Microcaps, you will be responsible for internal & external processes, interfaces and production: Development, implementation, and maintenance of a modern and applicable Quality Management System (QMS) that is in accordance with the requirements of ISO 22716 and other relevant standards of cosmetics manufacturing Conducting supplier qualification of our Swiss & international suppliers Developing and managing interface processes with suppliers and customers Responsibility for planning and conducting or accompanying external audits Ensuring the quality of work instructions, manufacturing regulations, and specifications Managing and conducting internal quality controls Managing quality deviations (OOS) and recalls, and steering the associated root cause analysis, including corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with the relevant departments Supporting the quality system for infrastructure, hygiene & occupational safety at the production site Managing and participating in improvement projects (PDCA as well as DMAIC, etc.) of our cutting edge production plants Responsibility for planning and conducting internal and external audits Requirements Have university degree (Bachelor/Master) in food/cosmetic/pharmaceutical technology, biology, or chemistry Have 5+ years of professional experience in quality management, preferably in cosmetics manufacturing Are fast learner incl. excellent analytical skills and interconnected thinking Have committed personality with good communication & conflict resolution skills and high social competence to work effectively with various stakeholders Excellent German (C1) and very good English (B2) skills, both written and spoken Have in-depth knowledge of relevant quality standards, particularly ISO 22716, and experience in the practical implementation of these standards. Knowledge of food and/or cosmetic-related microbiology is a significant advantage Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio skills Direct & indirect leadership experience like supplier management You enjoy the collaboration with internal and external interfaces as well as collaborating with Swiss and international customers and supplier Work locations: Worben, BE, occasionally in Schlieren, ZH Closing Application : Please apply using the form on our Webpage’s Career Site Microcaps(at)ch -- career
