We are on the hunt for an eagle-eyed Quality Inspector who will be the guardian of excellence for all our incoming and outgoing materials, products, and manufacturing procedures. Your expertise in standards like ISO 9001, ECSS, ASTM, and MIL will ensure our products are crafted from the finest materials and that every component meets stringent requirements. Your mission: to uphold the stellar quality of our products and ensure our suppliers' contributions meet our exacting standards. Tasks Inspecting products and materials according to quality standards, technical drawings, procedures and plans. Documenting inspection results and reporting any defects or non-conformities. Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager. Run statistical studies such as reproducibility and capability. Maintain and update quality inspector records. Perform detailed inspections of space components and mechanical parts using precision measuring tools and equipment. Verify that products meet established quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Requirements Proven experience as Quality Inspector or similar, relevant role with at least 3 years of experience. Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies. Strong knowledge in Space standards as ECSS, ASTM, and MIL etc. Good knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Ability to document results and create reports. Education/Certification in relevant field (e.g. engineering, safety, quality control). Responsible and trustworthy individual. Highly detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent English skills (written and oral), German is beneficial but not necessary. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, knowledge of ISO 9100 and Certification of quality control (ISO 9000 etc.) is highly desirable.
