The Impact You-ll Make in this Role As a Production Planning Manager (m/f/*) in Hilden, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Lead our planning processes, including S&Ops, capacity management, and daily production schedules to ensure maximum efficiency. Identify key obstacles affecting our service and inventory targets and coordinate the necessary resources to resolve them. Ensure your team has the necessary tools and clear priorities to achieve our objectives. Work closely with the plant leadership team to optimize planning for service excellence and cost-effective working capital utilization. Ensure all stakeholders are informed about existing challenges and their resolution paths to secure collective success. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering. Proven experience in planning or another technical role with leadership responsibilities. Strong planning background, ownership and leadership skills. Fluency in German and English. Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Experience with Artificial Intelligence. Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma, as well as continuous improvement. Coachable, open mindset, and a continuous improvement approach.
