We are seeking a proactive individual who excels at identifying client needs and providing effective solutions on the German power market, including cross-commodity solutions for clients who operate power stations. Essential responsibilitie s Build and maintain strong relationships with key market participants, including large industrials, suppliers, utilities and generation facilities (renewable and conventional) Identify, develop, negotiate, and execute structured energy transactions with embedded optionality in the German market in close cooperation with our trading unit MET International and the local PFM & Operations team in Germany Track record of negotiating and closing PPA transactions from RES is of advantage as well as understanding of the BESS market and possible solutions to BESS investors and BESS solutions for industrial consumers Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, informing the origination strategy Lead negotiations for origination contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies Oversee credit risk and continuous position management of the origination portfolio Manage the entire deal approval process with internal stakeholders, taking full front-to-end ownership of the implementation of new deals, products, and contract management Work closely with the sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of origination activities with overall business operations Provide regular reports on origination activities and market conditions Profile At least 5 years of experience in the energy sector , with a strong background in origination/ sale of complex products Deep understanding of the German energy market, including regulatory, economic, and competitive landscapes BSc/MSc degree in Business/Finance/Economics/Engineering or similar Fluency in German and very good command of English language Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning skills, proficiency in market analysis tools and techniques is an advantage Proactive, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment We offer An international environment and workforce with ca. 60 nationalities, with a commitment to respect, diversity and integrity Career growth and development at one of Switzerland's Top Employers Highly competitive remuneration system, above-market earning potential via our unique performance-based bonus schemes, reflecting the value we place on dedication and results Work in a flat organizational structure with best-in-class industry experts, promoting individual ideas, rapid decision-making, and high accountability A rapidly growing company entering new markets globally and expanding its asset portfolio worldwide, with substantial investment into green energy (renewables) assets Benefit from international career opportunities and internal mobility within our 17 globally located offices Engaging annual company events, from Group level teambuilding to local entity events and festive celebrations
