To meet our high standards every day, we are looking forward to your scientific expertise in the Core Unit for Stem Cell Technology under the direction of Prof. Michael Ziller, Dr. Yotam Menuchin-Lasowski and Prof. Tanja Kuhlmann at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Münster. The advertised position includes both methodological and organizational tasks related to setting up the Core Unit and independent scientific work, in particular in the area of establishing new human stem cell and organoid models - ideally with you on board! Ihre Aufgaben Contributing to the structural and methodological establishment of the Core Unit for Stem Cell Technology Generation, characterization and further development of human iPSC-based organoid and cell culture models Planning, execution and analysis of experimental work (e.g. differentiation protocols, molecular biology analyses, imaging) Scientific conception and further development of projects in the field of novel organoid models Coordination and support of users of the Core Unit (consulting, method transfer, quality standards) Participation in the establishment of SOPs and quality management Publication activities and presentation of results Part of Research Innovation Ihr Profil Completed doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in the life sciences (e.g. Biology, Human Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related discipline) Sound experience in stem cell culture (iPSCs) and/or organoid technologies Routine in cell biological and molecular biological methods (e.g. qPCR, immunostaining, imaging, RNA analyses) Interest in the methodological advancement of innovative 3D models Commitment, willingness to work in a team, and an independent working style Experience in establishing or organizing scientific laboratory units is an advantage, but not a prerequisite Unser Angebot Support for further scientific qualification as well as the development of your own project ideas Opportunity to actively shape a new Core Unit at the interface of stem cell technology, basic research and translational research Interdisciplinary environment in cutting-edge research at the University Hospital Münster and access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities Salary according to tariff agreement, extra annual payment, and company pension plan (VBL) Flexible working time models, 30 days of vacation per year, plus two additional days off on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve A wide range of training and professional development opportunities Exciting Projects Professional Development and Training Hier Bewerben Universitätsklinikum Münster Albert-Schweitzer-Campus 1, Gebäude D5 48149 Münster Www.ukm.de
