As a Lean Logistics Specialist within Amer Sports’ global warehousing network you will spearhead transformative projects, define global standards, and drive continuous improvement using powerful Lean methodologies. Join us in revolutionizing logistics - smarter, leaner, and together. Tasks Collaborating with cross-functional teams - including DC Lean experts, operations managers, process experts, and data analysts - to develop and refine global Lean Logistics Standards. Leading workshops and training sessions to coach teams on Lean principles, tools, and best practices. Driving consistent implementation of Lean practices across international distribution centers. Monitoring the effectiveness of standards and recommending enhancements based on results and feedback. Identifying and piloting innovative improvement initiatives within DC operations. Leading end-to-end projects focused on increasing throughput, optimizing material flow, and reducing costs. Using data analytics to uncover trends, root causes, and actionable insights for improvement. Tracking and reporting progress using clear KPIs to measure the impact of initiatives. Traveling globally for business (approximately 30% of the time). Requirements A degree in Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing with a focus on process improvement. Strong knowledge of Lean Management or similar methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, APICS), with practical experience in tools like Kaizen, PDCA, 5S, and FMEA. Proven ability to use data and KPIs to drive operational improvements. Fluent in English, with strong communication, facilitation, and training skills. Analytical, structured, and self-motivated, with a proactive mindset.
