Take your next step toward a life-changing career! About the Role The Laboratory Assistant plays a crucial role in laboratory management and supporting ongoing projects within the R&D team . Your day-to-day work will be varied and interesting as you work with different methods. This position reports to the Team Leader - Membranes and Diagnostic Applications and is part of the R&D department located in Dassel, Germany . Please note that this is an on-site role. ️ What You Will Do: Focus on planning, implementing, and evaluating project-supporting laboratory tasks. Develop the next generation of rapid diagnostic tests with our Cytiva Diagnostic Services team. Prepare chemical solutions and substances, ensuring proper disposal. Document your results and carry out evaluations. Handle general laboratory organization tasks and maintain laboratory and analysis equipment. Who You Are: Completed training as a biological technical assistant (M/F/D), chemical technical assistant (BTA/CTA), or a comparable qualification. Highly motivated and committed, with an independent, analytical, and conscientious work ethic. Experience in a quality-controlled working environment is a plus. A team player with strong communication skills. Fluent in German (both written and spoken); English language skills are an advantage. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel as needed (specifics to be discussed). Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
