To keep our team running at its best, we’re looking for a part-time IT Support Engineer (m/f/d) to join us in Berlin (with flexibility for remote work). In this role, you’ll be the go-to person at Planet A Ventures ensuring our digital setup is seamless, secure, and reliable — enabling us to drive forward planet-positive entrepreneurship. Position Details Part-time: 15-20h/week Location: Ideally Berlin (with flexibility for remote work) Start date: As soon as possible Tasks User & Device Management Set up and manage user accounts (Google Workspace, Affinity, Personio, Slack, etc.) Support onboarding and offboarding IT processes Handle licenses and software access Handle hardware (Macbooks / iPhones) Support & Troubleshooting Act as the first point of contact for IT issues within the team Provide remote and occasional on-site support (WiFi (Ubiquiti), office internet, printers, hardware) Coordinate device repairs and replacements Software & Device Administration Manage our MDM system (Kandji) Oversee updates, security patches, and access rights Document IT processes and maintain the lightweight IT service log Data & Backups Implement and monitor backup routines (Google Drive, Snowflake/Affinity) Ensure data integrity and IT security standards Administration & Budgeting Manage software subscriptions and IT-related invoices Support IT budget tracking and documentation Requirements Familiarity with Mac/Apple environments Ideally first experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role Strong knowledge of Google Workspace, MDM (ideally Kandji), and SaaS tools Familiarity with IT security practices and backup strategies Able to work independently while taking initiative Structured, reliable, and pragmatic problem-solver Fluent in English (written and spoken). German skills are a plus.
