We are looking for a hands-on HR Specialist to support our growing operations in Romania and Eastern Europe. This role combines HR administration, contractual matters, payroll coordination, onboarding/offboarding, and active recruitment (blue- and white-collar). You will work closely with external payroll providers, tax offices, and recruitment partners while acting as a key point of contact for employees. Key Responsibilities Contractual & Employment Matters - Preparation of documentation for new hires - Drafting employment contracts for redi Romania (currently handled by an external tax office) - Setting up employees in a 3rd party for other countries - Registering employment contracts in local Romanian systems - Managing contract amendments (salary changes, extensions, role changes) - Communicating with new employees: collecting required information and answering HR-related questions General HR Administration - Setting up and maintaining employees in internal HR systems - Processing and approving travel expenses - Acting as first point of contact for employee questions and issues - Managing absences (vacation, sick leave) - Creating and maintaining personnel files in line with regulations Onboarding & Offboarding - Coordinating onboarding processes: welcome emails, onboarding plans, scheduling, and follow-up - Monitoring onboarding progress and employee integration - Designing and implementing structured offboarding processes Payroll & Tax Office Coordination - Preparatory payroll activities - Reviewing payroll data and validating accuracy provided by the tax office / payroll provider - Ongoing communication with external payroll and tax partners Recruitment (Blue & White Collar) - Coordination with external HR and recruitment agencies - Active recruitment of blue- and white-collar employees in Romania and Eastern Europe - Supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process Your Profile - Experience in HR administration and recruitment, ideally in an international environment - Solid understanding of Romanian labor law (experience with payroll providers is a plus) - Experience working with external HR agencies and tax offices - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to handle multiple processes in parallel - Fluency in Romanian and English (spoken and written); any of the following are an advantage: Hungarian, German What We Offer - Comfortable working with remote and on-site teams - 26 days of vacation per year - Dynamic, fast-paced international environment - Close cooperation with operational leadership - Long-term opportunity in a growing organization Sounds like you?
