Who we’re looking for We’re looking for curious, motivated individuals who want to transition into the world of HR/People & Culture . Whether you’re: exploring a career change, job seeking with a background in something else (education, admin, hospitality, etc.), or simply always the "people person” in your team... …this program is for you. Tasks What you’ll learn Over 3 months, you’ll explore the entire employee lifecycle through 9 core modules with real-world examples, expert sessions, and hands-on assignments: Introduction to HR - understand HR’s evolving role, the generalist mindset, and how it all plays out in fast-paced, dynamic companies. Recruiting & Talent acquisition - learn how to write inclusive job ads, structure hiring processes, run interviews, and build a strong employer brand. Onboarding & Employee engagement - explore how to design onboarding journeys that foster connection, belonging, and productivity, and what really drives engagement. Performance management & Learning & development - get tools for setting goals, giving feedback, supporting growth, and creating a learning culture even without a big budget. Compensation, benefits & total rewards - grasp the basics of fair pay, salary bands, non-monetary benefits, and the connection between rewards and motivation. Exit, offboarding & culture transformation - understand what good offboarding looks like, and how exits impact culture, change, and future hiring. HR Compliance & Legal foundations - learn employment types, probation, termination, and what HR needs to know about German labor law (explained simply). Plus : Real-world case studies Sessions led by experienced HR professionals Job search support (CVs, interviews, networking) to help you land your first People & Culture role Requirements Requirements This Weiterbildung is full-time and designed for job-seeking individuals who: are registered with the Job center or Agentur für Arbeit as a jobseeker (ALG I or ALG II) are eligible for a Bildungsgutschein do not need prior HR experience — just motivation and curiosity Benefits Starts: January 12, 2026 Fully remote (online training) Fully funded via Bildungsgutschein Taught in English
