Stellenbeschreibung: About the team Elucidate's Forward Deployed Engineering team partners with financial institutions to turn our risk intelligence platform into production-grade compliance solutions. We embed deeply with banks, payment providers, and fintechs to solve their most pressing KYC and AML challenges. We move quickly from proof-of-concept to live deployment and surface patterns that shape our product roadmap. We operate at the intersection of customer delivery and core platform development. About the role Forward Deployed Engineers lead complex deployments of our transaction screening and risk assessment systems in production. You will embed with clients where compliance accuracy matters, regulatory deadlines are real, and data environments are complex. You will map their problems, structure delivery, and ship fast. You will scope, sequence, and build integrations that create measurable value,fewer false positives, faster onboarding, clearer risk signals. You will drive clarity across internal teams and client stakeholders. You will identify reusable patterns and share field insights that influence the product. Success in this role means owning the delivery state across client workstreams. You will hold the bar on quality and pace and help Elucidate learn through execution. This role is based in Berlin. We offer flexible hybrid arrangements. Travel to client sites across the world (up to 50%) is required. In this role you will Own technical delivery across multiple client deployments from first integration to stable production Build data pipelines, APIs, and interfaces that connect our platform to client systems (core banking, payment rails, case management) Embed closely with client compliance and engineering teams, understand their workflows, and guide adoption Scope work, sequence delivery, and remove blockers early Make trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality; adjust plans to protect go-live dates Contribute directly in the code when progress or clarity depends on it Codify working patterns into tools, documentation, or reusable components Share field feedback that helps Product and Data Science understand where our models succeed and where they need refinement Keep teams moving through clarity and follow-through You might thrive in this role if you Bring 5+ years of engineering experience that includes customer-facing or consulting work Have scoped and delivered complex integrations in fast-moving or regulated environments Write and review production-grade code in Python, PHP/Symfony, or JavaScript/Vue or comparable stacks Have experience with data-intensive systems: APIs, ETL pipelines, SQL databases, or streaming architectures Understand (or are eager to learn) financial services domains: payments, transaction monitoring, KYC/AML Simplify complexity and make fast, sound decisions under pressure Communicate clearly with engineers, compliance teams, and senior client stakeholders Spot risks early and adjust without slowing down Model calm and judgment when delivery stakes are high Nice to have Experience with SWIFT messaging, ISO 20022, or banking integration standards Familiarity with machine learning systems in production Background in financial crime compliance or regtech About Elucidate Elucidate is a financial intelligence company on a mission to make financial crime risk measurable and manageable.
