Tasks As the Finance & Accounting working student at CONROO, you will get an opportunity to grow, learn, and play a pivotal role in supporting our financial operations while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our COO, Ksenia, to refine accounting & financial operations Accounting Operations : Assist with daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate transaction recording, efficient invoice management, and smooth execution of account closing processes. Streamline Processes : Identify opportunities to improve financial workflows & invoicing processes, and assist in implementing digital tools and automation systems. Payroll and Accounting Coordination : Liaise with our external payroll and accounting providers to ensure timely processing. Invoice Management : Handle clients invoices and ensure timely payment Management Systems : Enhance and refine accounting, controlling, and management systems to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve accuracy. Financial Research : Review regulations and research financial trends to support accounting activities and ensure compliance. Financial Planning : Support budgeting and strategic financial planning to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Requirements Essential skills and experiences: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in management, logistics, finance, accounting, or a related field, with above-average academic results Native-level proficiency in German is required, with fluent English proficiency to ensure effective communication Exceptional time management, prioritisation, and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in PowerPoint and/or Google Slides Personal values and beliefs: A strong sense of ownership, with the ability to work independently, take on a high level of responsibility, and a drive to make a meaningful impact A commitment to consistently raise standards by improving quality and efficiency in all aspects of work An independent, hands-on mindset with a 'never-stop-learning' attitude and a desire to grow alongside the team A strong sense of accountability, taking initiative to see tasks through to completion and proactively addressing challenges Benefits Gain invaluable insights into building a logistics tech start-up and enjoy the freedom to take ownership of your work in an autonomous environment that encourages and supports your growth.
