They are now launching a new business unit designed to complement the existing portfolio and unlock major growth opportunities. Aufgaben This is not a "shadow-the-founders” role - it’s your mandate to operate as the founder of your own unit. You’ll have full autonomy to shape the research, define the scope, set the strategy, and execute – with the responsibility to deliver results. Full ownership – Lead the new unit with your own budget, P&L responsibility, and control over strategic direction. Zero-to-one and beyond – Define the value proposition, go-to-market plan, and operating model, then scale at pace. Build and lead a lean team – Recruit, develop, and manage top-tier talent to deliver against ambitious goals. Direct founder access – Benefit from rapid decision-making and close strategic alignment with dsb’s leadership. Qualifikation You are a high-achieving, entrepreneurial operator with the hunger to build something from scratch and the discipline to make it succeed. 2–4 years’ experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up , ideally in a product-focused environment. Experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or private equity is highly valuable. Proven track record of overachievement – consistently delivering exceptional results in demanding, fast-paced settings. Strong commercial instincts – able to spot, size, and capture growth opportunities quickly and decisively. Highly analytical and structured, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a bias for action. Comfortable making decisions and moving fast in ambiguous, high-pressure environments. Full fluency in both German and English.
