Stellenbeschreibung: About us I am working with a dynamic organisation seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join their team. This role focuses on Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear systems, where the ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including electrical testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning. The position offers a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment while ensuring the highest standards of safety and technical expertise are met. Tasks Conduct comprehensive electrical tests on MV switchgear, covering aspects such as insulation resistance, contact resistance, primary and secondary injection testing, relay checks, and partial discharge diagnostics. Oversee the commissioning, ongoing maintenance, and repair of MV switchgear and protection systems, ensuring optimal functionality. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults within MV systems promptly and efficiently. Uphold stringent safety practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide expert technical support on-site during installations and system integrations. Work closely with engineering teams to contribute to the continuous improvement of system reliability and performance. Qualifications Completed vocational training or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a similar discipline Demonstrated experience with MV switchgear, including testing, commissioning, and field servicing. Expertise in using electrical testing tools (e.g., OMICRON, Megger, etc.). Proficient in English (both verbal and written); knowledge of German is an advantage. Willingness to travel both locally and internationally. Legal authorisation to work in Germany (or within the EU).
