With 50,000 offer requests in 2024, Houzy is on track to become the largest referral platform for trades and services related to real estate. As part of our expansion, we are looking for a Development (Co-)Lead to shape and drive our technological strategy. By the way: Houzy was named Best Employer in Zurich (SME category) by kununu in 2023! Tasks Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, maintainable software solutions. Plan, coordinate, and execute development projects, ensuring on-time delivery. Define and enforce coding, testing, and deployment best practices. Collaborate with Product, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to integrate technical solutions with business needs. Analyze requirements, design system architecture, and oversee programming solutions. Implement and monitor rigorous testing processes. Coordinate release planning and manage tasks for internal and external developers. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for systems and applications. Monitor technology trends and introduce relevant innovations. Define and maintain the technical ecosystem, including development and testing environments. Oversee code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes. Act promptly in case of system incidents. Requirements At least 3 years’ experience in software development Proven success in managing development projects. Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Next.js, Nest.js, TypeORM, Redis. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and cloud platforms (GitHub Actions, Heroku/AWS). Knowledge of system architecture, API design, and database management (PostgreSQL, REST). Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
