for a data engineer (m/f/d) to join our telemetry team. You will work
in a small, focused team collaborating closely with other teams within
Advantest and its partners to create a solution that allows us to
collect, transfer, process, and analyze telemetry data of our systems
in use. The job is located in the Böblingen office. Occasional remote
work is possible. Identifying requirements and constraints for a
telemetry solution Defining the data formats and models and the
processing procedures Selecting appropriate tools and technologies
Designing and implementing the respective software incrementally and
iteratively as a member of an agile team Validating the solution
in-house and with our partners and customers Consulting teams about
the utilization of the telemetry solution Ihr Profil Bachelor's or
master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a
related field Solid understanding of software engineering practices,
including CI/CD, version control (Git), and automated testing
Experience with cloud platforms, especially services related to data
pipelines and data storage and frameworks for batch data processing
Proficiency in a programming language commonly used for data
engineering tasks and backend development Understanding of security
and compliance in data handling, including encryption, access control,
and data anonymization Good knowledge of the Linux operating system
Being a team player with the desire to work in an international team
Very good communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of digital electronics, ideally also of semiconductor
testing Experience with agile software development in large
