For our client, the world's largest e-commerce company, we are currently filling the following position: DATA CENTER TECHNICIAN (M/F/D) YOUR TASKS Install, terminate, label, and test copper and fiber optic cabling in a data center environment Perform basic build activities and troubleshooting of network devices and connectivity issues Execute planned installations and respond to reactive tickets using a ticketing system Manage and track inventory of cabling materials, tools, and related assets Create, attach, and maintain accurate labels and barcodes according to defined standards Document work performed and update tickets in line with SOPs Collaborate closely with Senior Technicians and cross-functional teams during daily operations Follow defined escalation processes, safety policies, and standard operating procedures YOUR QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Hands-on experience with data center cabling (copper and fiber) Ability to work on-site in a data center environment with structured shifts Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions, including confined spaces, ladders, and varying temperatures Basic technical knowledge of network or data center environments Ability to manage work through a ticketing system and follow documented procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards Familiarity with fiber optic testing tools and cabling documentation standards Strong written and verbal communication skills BENEFITS 30 days holiday Working time account with full overtime compensation Attractive employee discounts with numerous top suppliers Permanent contact person during the entire process / assignment Please be advised that a valid work permit for Germany is required for non-EU citizens INTERESTED?
