Job Title: Customer Service Specialist (Dutch & English) Location: Cologne (Hybrid) Contract: Permanent, Full-Time We are recruiting on behalf of an international organisation that is expanding its digital operations in Germany. Tasks As a Customer Service Specialist , you will be the main point of contact for customers using the company’s online marketplace. You will manage a wide range of enquiries, build trusted relationships, and ensure that every interaction is handled with professionalism, efficiency, and care. You will work closely with internal teams across operations, logistics, finance, sales, and support to resolve issues, manage escalations, and deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience. What You Will Be Doing Acting as the first contact for customers via phone, email, and digital channels Handling enquiries related to orders, processes, logistics, finance, and claims Investigating and resolving customer issues quickly and effectively Managing escalations and coordinating with internal stakeholders Building strong, long-term customer relationships through clear communication and service excellence Requirements C2 level Dutch and B2/C1 level English (written and spoken) Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service, customer support, call centre, or similar roles Confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills and a calm approach under pressure Comfortable working with multiple systems (e.g. CRM, ticketing tools, Microsoft Office) Experience in automotive, logistics, or digital marketplaces is an advantage but not essential – full training will be provided Benefits Hybrid working model 28 days holiday plus your birthday off Annual Wellbeing Day and a paid Charity Day Modern offices in Köln Mülheim with excellent transport links Structured onboarding, training, and long-term development opportunities Supportive, inclusive culture within an international environment If you are looking to join a business that values people, invests in development, and is shaping the future of its industry, we would be pleased to hear from you.
