- About Splint Invest Splint Invest gives investors access to
professionally managed alternative assets — from art and
collectibles to wine and other tangible investments. Our investors are
deliberate, long-term oriented, and selective. They don’t invest
every day — but when they do, they expect clarity, relevance, and
strong conviction. The problem this role solves Splint Invest already
has strong demand and a base of engaged investors. What’s missing is
a clear owner for bringing users back into the app at the right
moments — when it actually makes sense for them to engage and
invest. This role exists to improve when, why, and how investors
return to the app — and to turn that engagement into meaningful GMV
over time. For context, by GMV we mean the volume of assets (art,
collectibles, etc) sold via the app. You may also think of it as new
AUM if you’re familiar with the financial services space. Your
mission Increase DAU and incremental GMV by making Splint more worth
opening and by reconnecting inactive and semi-active users to relevant
asset releases. You’ll achieve this through better lifecycle timing,
clearer investment decision support, and closer alignment between
releases, portfolio updates, and communication. Tasks What you’ll
own You own the lifecycle layer of asset releases and reactivation ,
end to end. This role is intentionally broad. Depending on your
strengths, you may lean more into some areas than others — but
you’ll own the outcome end-to-end. Concretely, this includes:
Lifecycle & reactivation Defining and maintaining inactive and
semi-active user cohorts Bring inactive or less-active investors back
into the app Decide when to communicate — and when not to Improve
DAU and GMV without over-relying on constant monetary incentives
(you’ll have the freedom to use them tactically instead) Investment
experience & communication Shape how investment opportunities are
presented in communications (email, in-app pushes, etc) Collaborate
with the asset team to understand the investment thesis behind an
asset and surface this information to users in a digestible way Ensure
investors understand why an opportunity matters and why now
Collaborate with the asset team to understand changes in valuation,
market news, and asset comparables, and help users understand how
their portfolio is evolving Position Splint Invest as a trusted asset
manager and alternative investment platform by highlighting exits,
returns, track record, our experts, and our process. Release timing &
demand planning Coordinate with product and asset teams on release
sequencing in order to ensure demand and supply are optimally aligned
Leverage portfolio events (valuations, exits, milestones) as
engagement triggers Schedule and optimize release announcement emails
and reminders Experimentation & learning Run structured experiments
across messaging, timing, segmentation, incentives, channel mix
(email, push, in-app, paid retargeting, compliant alternatives), and
presentation Measure impact on DAU, reactivation, and GMV — not just
opens or clicks Turn learnings into repeatable playbooks What success
looks like More stable and predictable DAU Higher GMV per active user
Better reactivation of previously active investors Fewer but more
effective communications Opt-outs and complaints remain controlled
despite increased experimentation Clear insight into why users open
the app and invest – or why not Requirements We expect strong
candidates to come from different backgrounds. You might be: A
lifecycle / CRM strategist who wants to move beyond tooling and into
real business impact A growth or product-adjacent marketer who thinks
in experiments and loves understanding user behaviour An
investment-savvy content or communications lead who enjoys translating
complex investment theses into digestible and actionable insights A
generalist with strong judgement who likes owning messy but
high-leverage problems What matters most is how you think and how
you’ll run experiments to improve the levers you will find in order
to bring users back to the app consistently — not which box you come
from. This role is not for: A pure email or CRM operator A performance
marketer who only optimizes CAC or ROAS Someone who needs perfect
attribution to start testing Someone uncomfortable with revenue
accountability What you’ll need: Experience working on lifecycle,
retention, growth, or product engagement Strong analytical thinking
and comfort with experimentation Ability to collaborate with product,
asset, and marketing teams Good judgement about relevance, timing, and
