About the software: Our product is a SaaS B2B platform that supports companies on their entire sustainability journey, with a focus on the one thing that will help our planet: Reducing emissions. And yes, we also use AI to do so. Tasks Active conception, development and maintenance of big-data-ready, resilient services in close collaboration with other engineers of the cross-functional team Pair programming, code reviews and technical spikes Work closely with our CTO, Product Managers and Sustainability Team to translate customer requirements into new features How we work: Process: Our development team is focused on growth, personal and collective reflections and follows industry-standard agile processes with two-week sprints. We are committed to agile development and prioritize delivering user value with each sprint by breaking features into small, manageable pieces. Code: We adhere to the principles of clean code and strive for simple solutions to complex problems. Development speed is a top priority, but we don't sacrifice code quality or let technical debt pile up Quality: We prioritize automated testing to ensure code coverage at different levels of the test pyramid, and we use tools like ESLint and Rubocop to maintain code quality. Also every code changes goes through a peer review. As we work, we automate repetitive tasks and follow Lean Startup principles to avoid automating the wrong things upfront Automation: Our cloud-first company uses GitHub to model our development process, including continuous integration based on GitHub Actions. Our platform is hosted on Kubernetes, and we use a three-step deployment process to test each pull request in a separate environment before deployment.
