Our technology enables industrial enterprises to optimize procurement, enhance efficiency, and drive cost savings Tasks Design and development of the backend of our ivoflow software using Elixir programming language Implementation of new features with a strong focus on our business tools Maintenance and optimization of existing functionalities to ensure long-term performance and stability Quality assurance through automated testing, code reviews, and static code analysis Active collaboration within an agile development team to design and implement innovative solutions Continuous improvement of our software through testing, code reviews, and performance tuning Close collaboration with the frontend team, especially in the development and integration of APIs and interfaces Requirements Proven experience in backend development, ideally in agile teams Solid knowledge and practical experience with Elixir and the Elixir ecosystem (Phoenix, Ecto, etc.), minimum 2-3 year’s experience using elixir Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns Commitment to software quality, including testing strategies, clean code, and maintainable solutions Familiarity with modern development tools (Git, CI/CD, Docker, etc.) A structured, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for clean, reliable code Experience implementing event driven architecture is a plus Basic understanding implementing patterns like Event Sourcing and CQRS is a plus Experience implementing software following Domain Driven Design (DDD) principals is a plus Benefits Plenty of room for creativity within an innovative team Excellent development and career opportunities Performance-based individual incentives (bonus) Work in the Technology Center Koblenz alongside many other innovative companies Free choice of hardware – preferably Apple – also for personal use Team events, free choice of beverages, company pension plan (BAV), and JobRad (bike leasing) High work-life balance including flexible working hours and remote work options Involvement and active participation in the Software Leadership Team Closing If you have the industry expertise and drive to succeed in this role, we’d love to hear from you!
