For a client of ours, we are currently looking for an Automation Test Engineer in Zürich. Your Role: - You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks and test cases for web and backend applications - Collaborating closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle - You will identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs, and assist in root cause analysis - Your responsibilities will include creating performance and load testing scripts to ensure scalable and reliable systems - You will continuously contribute to process improvements in our testing and quality assurance workflows - Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning and estimation Your Profile: - A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 3–6 years of experience in test automation - Proficient in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG) - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps - Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and agile practices - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java) - Experience with testing APIs using tools such as Postman or REST-assured - Fluency in German and English What we offer: - An exciting, varied and independent job in which you can realize your potential - Fair remuneration commensurate with your education, age and experience - Excellent development opportunities - An employer that values the work-life balance of its employees Die DEKRA Arbeit Gruppe ist Teil der DEKRA SE und seit Jahren einer der am stärksten wachsenden Personaldienstleister in ganz Europa.
