For a client of ours, we are currently looking for an Application Support Engineer in Zürich. Your Role: - You will provide technical support for business-critical applications, ensuring high availability and performance - Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve application-related incidents - You will monitor application health, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures - Manage user requests, incident tickets, and problem resolution within agreed SLAs - Participate in application upgrades, patching, and deployment activities - Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the support team Your Profile: - A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with 3–5 years of experience in application support or a similar role - Solid experience in supporting enterprise applications and understanding of ITIL practices - Proficient in SQL for data analysis and issue investigation - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash is a plus - Experience working with monitoring tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) - Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus - Strong analytical and communication skills - Fluency in English and German What we offer: - An exciting, varied and independent job in which you can realize your potential - Fair remuneration commensurate with your education, age and experience - Excellent development opportunities - An employer that values the work-life balance of its employees Die DEKRA Arbeit Gruppe ist Teil der DEKRA SE und seit Jahren einer der am stärksten wachsenden Personaldienstleister in ganz Europa.
