The jobholder (d/f/m) works as a Export Control Manager & Customs Specialist in the facility in Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel and supports the business by determining potential license requirements and applying for licenses, as well as ensuring that aircraft spares are imported and exported correctly and in line with laws and license conditions. Tasks: - Advices and support for all areas involved in the foreign trade (internal and external suppliers and service providers), in the selection of necessary authorizations, taking into account specific terms and conditions - Examining, assessing and deciding on authorizations, license types and exemptions of export controlled processes, goods, services, transits and brokering - Develop, apply, set, implement and coordinate preliminary inquiries, export licenses and special procedures, as well as verification and control of reporting to the authorities - Advices and implement requirements in regards to the U.S. Re-export legislation, as well as the requirements of the Satair/Airbus Procurement directives for every location - Monitor and assess Satair export shipments and will take necessary actions to comply with legal obligations - Develop internal instructions and procedures. You will also monitor the implementation, as well as participate to the creation, coordination and implementation of appropriate trainings on every Satair site and location (with Satair participation) - Determine classification of commodity codes (HS/HTS) as well as Export Control Classification (ECCN) Skills: - Flexibility in solution finding and open-minded for continuous improvement - Strong communication and presentation skills - Willing to take business trips, approx. once per quarter, mainly in Europe Our offer: - An unterminated employment contract - A far above-tariff remuneration - An interesting job that corresponds to your qualifications Application process: If you want to apply directly, please send us your CV by e-mail or via the online application offered.
