Stellenbeschreibung: Our German Branch is looking for an AI & Transformation Consultant Samsung SDS Europe Ltd. German Branch is the German site of SDSE located in Eschborn near Frankfurt am Main and provides internal IT services for all companies of the Samsung Family across Europe. Be part of our dynamic and intercultural IT-Team. PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The AI Use Case Consultant will work as an internal AI advisor for Customer, proactively engaging with business teams to discover real-world problems and transform them into actionable AI initiatives. This role focuses on use case discovery, problem structuring, and delivery leadership, rather than pure AI research or model development. The goal is to move from "AI sounds interesting” to "AI is delivering measurable business impact.” Tasks KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: On-site Use Case Discovery Visit and engage with Customer business teams (Sales, SCM, Finance, Marketing, HR, IT, etc.) Conduct structured interviews to understand workflows, pain points, and decision bottlenecks Identify tasks that are: Repetitive or manual Data-rich but insight-poor Highly dependent on individual experience or judgment Assess AI applicability (LLM, ML, RPA, or hybrid approaches) AI Use Case Definition & Structuring Translate vague requests into clear, executable AI problem statements ❌ "Can AI analyse this?” ✅ "Automatically detect PSI outliers by store and generate weekly insights” Produce structured deliverables: Use Case One-Pager Business impact estimation (time savings, quality, risk reduction) Data and system dependency analysis PoC scope and success criteria PoC & Delivery Leadership Lead AI PoC initiatives in collaboration with developers, data scientists, and vendors Provide practical guidance on: Data structure and availability Prompt design and workflow logic UX flow from a business user’s perspective Evaluate PoC results and recommend go/no-go decisions for rollout AI Adoption & Enablement UX flow from a business user’s perspective Capture and share AI best practices Support business users through lightweight training and enablement sessions Help embed AI into daily workflows and decision-making processes Requirements QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES REQUIRED: Required Qualifications Business & Problem-Solving Skills Experience working in IT, data, analytics, or process improvement projects Strong ability to understand business workflows and articulate pain points Excellent communication (German, English) and stakeholder management skills AI & Data Literacy (Not Deep Engineering) Solid understanding of AI concepts, especially LLM-based solutions (e.g., prompts, RAG, agents, MCP, automation) Ability to judge what AI can and cannot realistically do Familiarity with business data environments (Excel, SQL, BI tools, internal systems) Consulting Mindset Strong problem-structuring and hypothesis-driven thinking Comfortable working with ambiguity and incomplete requirements Outcome-oriented, focused on tangible deliverables and impact Preferred Qualifications Experience leading internal automation, AI, or digital transformation initiatives Hands-on exposure to tools such as Power BI, SQL Server, Python, or RPA platforms Experience delivering AI PoCs or MVPs Global or cross-functional collaboration experience Background bridging business and technical teams Global or cross-functional collaboration experience Background bridging business and technical teams Ideal Candidate Profile Not a pure AI researcher or model optimizer Not just a developer waiting for detailed requirements A business-driven problem solver who constantly asks: "Why is this still manual?” "Why does this depend on one person’s experience?” Someone who enjoys simplifying complexity and turning AI into a practical business tool.
